The Glass Menagerie

We are delighted to bring to life this beautiful classic story, The Glass Menagerie. We meet the Wingfield family at a crossroads, through the memories of a grown Tom, who is reflecting on a pivotal time in the lives of himself, his mother and his beloved sister. Regardless of the era, people have desires and needs, often at odds with feelings of responsibility and duty. It doesn't mean there is no love - or hope. As this is a memory play, its ambiguity allows you, the audience, to explore where your feelings take you: Do you understand Tom's side of things? Can you respect Amanda's fear - and is Laura truly as fragile as her glass menagerie? When you hold a piece of glass against the light, it reflects in many different ways, mirroring life with the multitude of choices we must make. -Tom and Jane
